Our commitment
The website has been made accessible in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, at level AA. The adjustments we have made are listed below, and the few known limitations are described under "Known limitations".
What we have done
- Semantic HTML, with a logical heading structure, landmarks and lists, so assistive technology can navigate the page.
- Full keyboard navigation, including the menus and frequently-asked-question panels, with a visible focus indicator.
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields with labels, and required fields marked for assistive technology.
- Animations are turned off for visitors who have asked their device to reduce motion.
- A full Hebrew version laid out right-to-left, with the page language set correctly in each version.
- Text and background colors chosen for sufficient contrast, and text that can be enlarged with the browser's zoom without loss of content.
- A responsive layout that works on phones, tablets and desktops.
The site is designed to work with current versions of the major browsers and with common screen readers.
Known limitations
- The WhatsApp-style phone demonstrations are illustrations. They are labelled for screen readers as an example conversation, and the main points they show are also described in the surrounding text.
- Some content is loaded from third parties (for example fonts and icons). We do not control its accessibility, though we choose providers with care.
We continue to review the site. If you find a page or element that is not accessible, please tell us so we can fix it.
Physical accessibility
Shabetzli does not currently operate premises that are open to the public. Our service is provided online.
