Every Department, Around the Clock

Front desk, housekeeping, kitchen, dining room and maintenance each run on their own shifts. Shabetzli collects availability from all of them, drafts a schedule per department and handles changes during the week, in each employee's language.

Holiday availability, collected privately in each employee's language.

Sounds Familiar?

A hotel never closes. Neither does its schedule.

Departments that don't talk

Housekeeping, front desk and the kitchen each keep their own schedule, in their own spreadsheet or group. Nobody sees the full picture.

Holiday peaks

Passover, Sukkot and the summer fill the hotel just as your regular staff want time off too. Extra hands have to be found and scheduled.

Nights, Shabbat and holidays

Someone has to work the night desk and the holiday shifts, and it shouldn't always be the same people.

Many languages, one schedule

Your housekeeping team may be more comfortable in Russian, Arabic or English than in Hebrew. A Hebrew-only message in the group doesn't reach everyone.

A Week with Shabetzli

What the week looks like once your rules are set.

  1. 1Sunday

    Every department is asked

Front desk, housekeeping, kitchen and dining staff each get a private message about next week.

  2. 2Tuesday

    Reminders

Whoever hasn't answered, in any department, is reminded in their own language.

  3. 3Wednesday

    Drafts by department

Morning, evening and night shifts covered, holiday and Shabbat shifts rotated, overtime flagged.

  4. 4Thursday

    You approve

Approve each department's draft, and everyone receives their shifts privately.

  5. 5Friday

    The night desk, covered

The night receptionist calls in sick in the afternoon. Shabetzli finds a free colleague and confirms.

Frequently asked questions

Can each department have its own rules?

Yes. Roles, minimum staffing and shift times are set up per department during onboarding, and drafts are built to them.

How do you handle seasonal staff for the holidays?

Seasonal workers are added to the team and asked for availability like everyone else, over WhatsApp, with nothing to install.

Can it rotate night and holiday shifts fairly?

Yes. Night, Shabbat and holiday shifts are rotated evenly across the people who can work them, within your rules, and you see the result before approving.

Our staff speak many languages. Is that a problem?

No. Each employee picks their own language, such as Hebrew, English, Russian, Arabic or Spanish, and managers see summaries in the platform rather than raw private messages.

Does it connect to our property management system?

Not at this stage. Tell us what you use; it helps us decide what to build next.

Your next schedule could build itself.
