Time clock on WhatsApp

Clock In With a Message. The Hours Add Up on Their Own.

No terminal by the door and no app to open. Employees write "on shift" when they start and "done" when they finish, in their own words and their own language. Shabetzli records the time, organizes the hours per person and compares them with the schedule. Each employee sees their own hours. You see everyone's.

Any wording, any language. Employees can ask for their own hours at any time.

How It Works

  1. Clock in with a message

When they start, employees write "on shift", "started" or the same thing in their own language. Shabetzli confirms the time.

  2. Clock out the same way

"Done", "I'm off" or anything similar. The shift's hours are calculated and sent back to them.

  3. Hours are organized

Per employee, by shift, week and month, and compared with the schedule.

  4. You see the full picture

Who is on shift right now, everyone's hours, and anything that doesn't match the schedule.

What Managers See

Live attendance and organized hours, in the chat or on the manager platform.

  • Who is on shift right now, and since when
  • Each employee's hours this week and this month
  • Late starts, missed clock-outs and overtime building up, flagged against the schedule

What's Included

Free text, any language

No codes or fixed commands. Employees write the way they talk, in the language they chose, typos included.

Each employee sees their own hours

"How many hours did I work this month?" gets an answer in the chat, any time. Nobody sees anyone else's hours.

Who's on shift right now

Managers see who has clocked in, who hasn't yet, and who is still on shift.

Hours by shift, week and month

Organized per employee automatically, so there's nothing to add up at the end of the month.

Reminders for forgotten clock-outs

When a shift has ended and someone is still clocked in, Shabetzli reminds them, and you see it flagged.

Compared with the schedule

Late starts and overtime building up during the week are flagged, so you hear about them while there's still time to act.

What You Get

No sign-in sheet to reconcile

Hours are recorded as people come and go, not copied from paper at the end of the month.

Fewer "how many hours do I have?" questions

Employees ask Shabetzli for their own hours instead of asking you.

Problems seen while they're small

A forgotten clock-out or overtime building up shows up during the week, not when you prepare payroll.

Nothing new to install

No terminal at the door and no app. The same WhatsApp chat they already use for their shifts.

Frequently asked questions

What if someone forgets to clock out?

Shabetzli compares clock-ins with the schedule. When a shift has ended and someone is still clocked in, it sends them a reminder, and the missed clock-out is flagged for you.

Can employees see their own hours?

Yes. They can ask in the chat, for example "how many hours did I work this month?", and get their hours for the shift, the week or the month. Each employee sees only their own.

What do managers see?

Who is on shift right now and every employee's hours, organized by shift, week and month, with late starts, missed clock-outs and overtime highlighted against the schedule.

Do employees need to use a specific phrase?

No. "On shift", "started", "I'm here" or the same in Russian, Arabic or any language they chose. If a message is unclear, Shabetzli asks.

Does it replace our payroll system?

No. Shabetzli gives you organized hours per employee. It doesn't calculate pay or export to payroll. Tell us what you use, and we'll talk about how the hours fit into your process.
