Shabetzli
Automatic scheduling

A Finished Draft, Built on Your Rules.

Once availability is in, Shabetzli builds next week's schedule: the right roles on every shift, minimum staffing where possible, the rest and hour limits you set, and the hard shifts shared fairly. You review it and approve.

Managers can approve in the chat or review the draft on the manager platform.

How It Works

  1. Availability is in

Shabetzli starts from what each employee told it: availability, time off and preferences.

  2. Your rules are applied

Roles and skills, minimum staffing, hour and rest limits, and who should or shouldn't work together.

  3. The week is balanced

Weekends, holidays and closing shifts are rotated across the team, and preferences are taken into account.

  4. You get a draft, with flags

Open shifts, overtime and rest problems are flagged. You change what you like and approve.

What's Included

Roles and skills

Only people who can open, close, run the bar or lead a shift are placed in those slots.

Minimum staffing

Each shift is staffed to the levels you define, per role. Shifts that come up short are flagged.

Hour and rest limits

Weekly hours, overtime and rest between shifts are checked against the limits you configure, before anything is published.

Fair rotation

Weekends, holidays and closing shifts are spread evenly, so the same people aren't stuck with them every week.

Preferences considered

Who prefers mornings or wants more hours is taken into account where the week allows.

Conflicts resolved with people

When two people want the same day off, Shabetzli talks to them before bringing it to you.

What You Get

Review instead of rebuild

The weekly rebuild becomes a review of a finished draft.

Fairness you can explain

The rotation is consistent, which makes "why me again?" easier to answer.

Problems caught early

Overtime and rest issues show up in the draft, not when payroll arrives.

Your judgement, less of your time

You still decide. You just start from a schedule instead of a blank sheet.

Frequently asked questions

Does Shabetzli publish the schedule on its own?

No. It prepares a complete draft and nothing is published until you approve it.

What if there aren't enough people for a shift?

Shabetzli tells you which shifts are short and why, and can reach out to suitable people who marked themselves flexible.

Can I change the draft?

Yes. Tell Shabetzli what to change in the chat, or review it on the manager platform before you approve. You can change anything.

Does Shabetzli guarantee compliance with labor law?

No tool can do that for you. Shabetzli helps you respect the rest and overtime rules you configure and flags problems before you publish. Responsibility for the final schedule stays with you.

How does fairness work?

Shabetzli keeps track of who worked weekends, holidays and closing shifts and spreads them across the team over time. During setup, you decide which shifts count and how they should rotate.
